The Guys at R&S are rock stars. They just designed and put in a new furnace and ducting for us and we couldn’t be happier.. Justin and his team are incredible… they did a very clean and professional install, on schedule, for the best price & the system is amazing.. we couldn’t be happier and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to anyone.. I would give them the highest rating. – October 2025

Upon discovering a leak from my heating unit, I called R&S Heating for assistance. Immediately, owner Rich came to assess the situation and let me know my options. In the end, I needed a new forced air furnace and duct replacement. Rich and his professional team removed my old furnace and ductwork from the attic, then skillfully installed the new unit. I was so impressed by their knowledge, honesty, and care for doing the best work possible. After the work was complete, R&S made sure everything was to my satisfaction. I wholeheartedly recommend this company!

Cindy

R&S did an amazing job installing a new heat pump heating and conditioning system for us. They are very knowledgeable in selecting and installing the system. We are more than satisfied with the outcome. Now we can control the temperature of the house from my cell phone, and switching between heating and cooling within minutes on the same system! The work was done with our needs in mind. Old pipings and wires were removed or replaced and cleaned up to ensure safety and elegance of the property. David, Jose and Frank did a great job installing the system and teaching us how to use it. Thank you!

Kyle in Seaside

Just wanted to say Thank you all for your hard work in getting my heater installed by Christmas. Everything is working great- it is so nice to come home to a warm house.

Susan B. of Carmel

Thank you for the great service!! I am loving the new HEAT! The work and service by Joe and Justin was excellent- so nice to have young men so nice, BUT the clean up was also excellent. Actually all of the service was GRAND…thank you and pass it on!

Cindy- Monterey

They have provided the best customer service that I have ever received. This is a family owned business. Rich Russo is the owner. I spoke with Janice, Rich’s wife, on the phone several times. His son Justin and another guy Joe Gallagher installed the system. Rich over saw everything. They first came and looked at everything and then they gave me an estimate. They gave me several options and explained my options to me with all benefits. I felt very comfortable making a choice and never felt forced to make a choice. They brought over space heaters since my heat went out until they could work me in. They explained everything they were doing and communicated very well with me. When they were finished with the job they did a terrific job cleaning up. They were respectful and polite. After the job was done, Rich gave me a binder with all the information of the unit I purchased. They told me to call with any questions. They reprogrammed the heater. I have never had this type of customer service.

Roger- Pebble Beach

Rich and his crew did an outstanding job. Professional, courteous, very knowledgeable, clean work place and on time to perform work.

Deborah- Carmel

I was extremely happy with the service. Bobby showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and made the necessary repairs. He also thoroughly cleaned one of the units which is an old floor heater. I highly recommend this vendor.

My contractor recommended Rich Russo, the owner of R & S Heating and Sheet Metal. My house in Del Rey Oaks was built in the early 1950s with a heater but with no air conditioning, so Rich came out and provided me with an estimate for an entirely new system. The work was done in a timely manner and the new system works to perfection. The state-of-the-art Google Nest thermostat is pretty cool too – I can control it remotely with my smartphone. I am very happy with my new improved system and I highly recommend the services of R & S Heating and Sheet Metal.
